2026 European Championships Men's Short Program

I take it I do not want to watch Kevin Aymoz... I have taken to checking the temp before ever trying.

Kevin's record at Euros needs studying:

2019: 4th
2020: 26th
2022: 7th
2023: 4th
2024: 31st
2025: 22nd
2026: 27th

Baffling.
What is sad is that he has 5 gold medals this season. He was 5th at Worlds. Europeans is not a good competition for him. I don't know why, but I am sad for him. He won Skate America, and that is the memory I will concentrate on.

I feel a little sorry for the podium three, they are a sideshow both here and all over the internet while people mourn for Kevin. Nothing like WWW in effect telling you "we really wanted him to beat you, sorry......."

Can someone explain why Deniss got 0 on his final spin? Did he fail to achieve the required number of rotations on the opening position?

Yikes. He and Laetitia Hubert need to start a self help club. Literally could be the best or worst at any competition. That was a rough skate.

Happy for Nika (but gross that his coach is Eteri). And love that the Selevkos are 2 and 3!

I can't imagine caring what's on the internet.

Kevin is already on his Olympic team. Not a problem. Both Mihhail and Aleksandr Selevko are competing for the one Olympic spot Estonia has and it will be decided here. Matteo Rizzo is competing with Nikolaj Memola for the spot on the Italian Olympic team and it will be decided here.

Representing your country at the Olympics and competing for a medal is many a kid's dream, no matter where they live. Winning Europeans isn't.

Incredible day for the Georgians. Nika peaking at the right time, establishing himself as one of the better and more consistent skaters in the world. To me he's no less than Grassl in terms of performance components, but has more consistent jumps, less cheated landings. Nika I don't see as being far below Malinin in terms of performance components either.

Does Kevin just do this to draw attention to himself? Once he takes himself out of contention for the podium with a big error, it's like he just stops trying so he can miss the free skate and go home a day earlier. No fight in him.

Eteri very close to creating another European champion, this time in men's for a different country. It will be quite an accomplishment especially for someone who supposedly doesn't know how to train men.

So A. Selevko moved to the USA to train (Skating Club of Boston) but is skating for Estonia?
Probably a similar arrangement to someone like Chock & Bates who have trained in Canada for years but don't skate for Canada. Selevko's only been training in Boston for 6 months as well, it's not like he's trained in Canada for nearly a decade.
