2026 European Championships Women's Short Program

Uff, they are switching commentators, and the women who is comming can be irritating.(she is a firmer fencer, so she is good for comentating that but is hit and mis in case of other sports)
I will probably go back to the english Eurosport, with my hat in my hand

The BBC used to have tennis player Sue Barker commentating on their figure skating coverage alongside Robin Cousins. And she was brilliant! A real professional that did her research before she got near the commentary box.

Then when she started cutting down ahead of retiring, they brought in newsreader Kat Downes. And she was totally clueless! And even after doing it a few years, she still hadn't a clue about anything.

Thank goodness, Kat is at the Australian Open tennis this week. So, I wonder whether they are going to have somebody good alongside Robin this time.

I saw a couple of comments about Seniuk in practice almost trying to get the other skaters out of the way and I see it, she doens´t really pay much attention to the other skaters on the warm up...

I'm back. :) Really pleased to see that Kristen Spours has qualified for the free. Given that she had to relearn how to walk in the Summer and has only been back on the ice for a couple of months, that is a huge achievement. I hadn't expected Nina Povey to qualify, as it would have needed the performance of her life, but it looks like she gave a good account of herself.

Kristen: home crowd is electic, this is the first time she is skating in front of such a crowd, presenting the consequences of the injury, probably will never be able to do a 2Axel again
Oh wow, didn’t realize Kristen was dealing with all that issues.
