But seriously, for European championships, this event was lukewarm.

We had three Ni(i)nas P in this competition, and two out of three did really well.

A lovely performance from Nina, though the plié at the start is unexpected choreography. Fan spiral entry to the 2A, and a beautiful arabesque spiral around the rink between elements. Her Besti squat is so deep. She has a fantastically flexible I-spin, and I think the most flexible Biellmann of the evening.

I like this program for Nina (although prefered previous dark blue dress which was fab), good skate but her jumps all look short.

Idk, the GOEs for her jumps didn't really correspond to what I was seeing on the ice. This panel has been highly inconsistent in terms of calls, so she'll probably get away with some of those missing rotations - You know what, good for her, I guess. A little happiness is not out of order after her injury.

Nina Pinzarrone's program became more interesting towards the end. But it's a bit generic, and the dress is a bit out of fashion. The landings are short and hard, but she held it together.
So many skaters I haven't seen this season yet.

Watching skating live is grueling. People who haven’t done it don’t know.

Well done Nina, a strong end to the SP. A couple of Q’s on the replay but into 2nd place.

Overall a disappointing competition, so many mistakes. Loena could still pull of a medal, the two Italians ahead of her.wouldn’t be the most consistent skater.

Niina in a very strong position to defend her title, not sure I’d have called that.
