I think to have a successful Carmen program, you have to truly commit to the character and vibe, and I don't get that here.

What a gorgeous dress. Hers is not a very fiery Carmen but I still enjoyed the program and charismatic presentation. I also really enjoyed that this program had an old school smoke break in the middle--it gave me a chance to breathe.

Provisional all greens for Haein, but 1 popped lutz and carrot smells.....

I wonder what she said right after she finished her skate?

Oh I love the ending pose, a shame about the popped lutz, and sadly there are a few underrotations. And as much I love her, for me the first half feels just too empty

LEE Haein (KOR) doing a "Carmen" programme.

She is wearing an absolutely gorgeous black dress, with red patches on her hip and arm.

The skating was absolutely beautiful!

She looks happy in the results area. And then nervous as the scores come closer to being announced.

She goes into 3rd position in the FS, and 2nd position overall.

Poor Sarah, a tough skate from her after her brilliant showing at Nationals. She just never seemed comfortable with her jumps today, she was really open on her landing positions and that spiraled into some little hiccups on her choreo sequence as well. She did really well to keep fighting for all of her combos though. I have to imagine that she, Starr, and Bradie are all exhausted after having done Nationals just two weeks ago, flying across the World, and having skated so well at Nationals. That's a lot for these athletes to have to manage.

I am going to have to look into Poor Things in order to really appreciate this program of Sarah's. With the mistakes, it is just not her time at this event but she still has a bright future.
