I feel bad for Petra - it felt like she was struggling in her own game of thrones. Call it a learning experience and she is young and talented enough to get another try.

Middle of the night?! They start at just after 5am your time! I normally get up at around 5am my time whether there is skating on or not.

Mind you, I admit that I was still asleep when the Free Dance started at 04:15 GMT this morning.

But I am so glad that I was awake in time to watch Groups 2 and 3 LIVE of the Free Dance LIVE this morning.

Such a challenging skate for Lahti. She was skating quite solidly in practice this week as well. I hope she isn't injured.

I am finding it hard getting used to writing "NZL" for Petra instead of "FIN".

Skating to a beautiful instrumental piece, which I keep attempting to sing Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" along to.

Not a bad start to the competition.

They were keeping her waiting a long time for the scores. So long that the director started showing shots of the audience.

game of thrones, broken wings... these ladies need to find some more optimistic themes
they really need to understand how beautiful they are - we get up at all hours to admire their talents

I'd like to see more of them pick music that makes them feel good about themselves

I've never seen it either if it helps.
Not my cup of tea - I see enough of that kind of stuff in politics and it turns me right off
