SHIN Jia (KOR) is wearing a dress in various shades of grey (not as many as 50). It looked like a rockery.

She was skating to "Liebestraum" by Franz Liszt. This is beautiful music for skating to. Why do we not hear it more often nowadays?!

She had a fall early on where she nearly went into the boards (actually she did when she was getting up).

But, apart from that, the programme was absolutely beautiful.

Chris is predicting a new leader by some way.

He's not wrong!

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall. By about 20 points!

I would like to see her work on her footwork and quickness and skate to something sweeping and powerful that has emotional pull - I'd have her skate to Outlander.

Her dress was gorgeous.

Sara-Maude landed a 3A (not cleanly bit still!)

A bit of a mixed skate for Sara-Maude! It was a good attempt at the 3A, even though it wasn't quite around/clean. There were some really nice moments, and she kept fighting, but she also lost quite a few marks throughout the program.

This has been a big year for her, and I hope that she will continue her rise next year. Hopefully she can spend more time focusing on skating skills and posture to elevate herself to the next level.

Sara-Maude DUPUIS (CAN) wearing a dress that is mainly pale blue, but has a lot of dark blue and light green and gold patterns on it. Frankly, it is a mess. But in a good way.

She was skating to a medley of music from the "Human" soundtrack. I'm not familiar with it, but the music was beautiful.

The skating was good.

Was she crying when whe was hugging her coach?

Actually, I don't think so because she looked the same in the first of the replays, which was from before she started.

She seems happy enough in the results area.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.
