I dpon't know the music, but I liked it. And I liked the skating too!

Staying with the Artistic Free Skates, we move from the youngest class in Bronze Ladies to the two youngest classes in Bronze Men. It's a combined competition, as there are only 6 guys in total.

I am guessing that Zulhaj RIZKI (NED) has Indonesian heritage. Because his costume is giving me South-East Asian vibes, and the Netherlands was the colonial power in Indonesia.

The music sounded traditional with a techno twist. I liked the traditional, but not the techno.

Not a bad start to the competition.

First is Davide CESANA (ITA), who is wearing a black shirt with sparklies and a hole cut out of the back a la Paul Poirier, and black trousers.

I'm nearly sure I've heard this music skated to before, but I don't know what it is.

The second of our Italian Davide double-bill is Davide MOLTENI (ITA). He is wearing a jumpsuit which is white with black pattern in the top half, and black in the bottom half.

Skating to "The Music Of The Night".

I know people get fed up with "Phantom Of The Opera" programmes, but that was beautiful.

He goes into 2nd position.

That was good! I enjoyed that.

I was wondering what was going on when Simon JELL (GBR) was standing in his starting position with his arms crossed and smiling, and we heard a loud beep.

But I was smiling soon afterwards when I realised he was skating to "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

He was wearing a sparkly brown top and brown trousers.

That was absolutely brilliant!!!

He goes into 2nd position.

After starting the day with Silver level skaters doing their "normal" Free Skates, we come back from the resurfacing to some more Silver level skaters doing their "normal" Free Skates. But whereas we had the Ladies from Class I earlier, this time it is the Men from Classes II and III.

9 Class II Men, followed by 10 Class III Men. Separate competitions, but a combined middle Warm-Up group.

Michael BERGER (ITA) starts us off with some Bruce Springsteen! I don't think I've seen a "Born In The USA" programme before.

Simple but effective costume. White T-shirt and blue jeans.

As I said for somebody earlier, my only complaint is that the music faded at the end.

Apart from that, I loved it. A great way to start the competition.

And he's not the only one wearing jeans in the results area!

From causal dress, we go to formal dress with Mickael BOSPHORE-WARD (GBR).

Red coat with tails, white shirt, black waistcoat, black un-tied dickie bow, black gloves and black trousers.

When I saw his costume, I was not expecting music like that. According to a lyrics search, it is "Insane" by Black Gryph0n & Baasik.

That was VERY different. But at the same time, it was a lot of fun! And Mickael seemed to be enjoying himself.

What a reaction! He can't believe it!

Pierre-Marie COLIN (CAN) wearing a jumpsuit where the top half is very dark blue, and the bottom half is black.

I don't know this instrumental music, but it is beautiful.

And so was the skating.

Now my problem is comparing it to the previous programme that is currently leading. They were both so good, but so different to each other.

Some team-mates sitting with him. Amy LAU looks very serious, but the others look happy.

All of them are delighted.

Skating to "Demons" by Imagine Dragons.

A few years ago, everybody was skating to Imagine Dragons. It doesn't happen so much now, so it was nice to hear them again. Their songs always produce good programmes.

And this was one of them.

Another mainly white top and black trousers combination for Karsten LINNICH (DEU). But this time it was a long-sleeved top with grey areas.

Skating to Disturbed's cover of "The Sound Of Silence". This is another song that used to be skated by everybody, but although it still gets used a lot, it is not as often as it used to be.

Very rough edit just before the end. Which spoiled it for me.

Apart from the edit, I loved the programme.

He goes into 5th position.

I think the best word to describe his reaction is "relieved".

Not a lot of speed, but the technique looked good.

Is there room for any more people in the results area?! 16 of them! Thank goodness it is only 3 hand flags that they have - you couldn't fit full sized flags in!

Mmmm. I know I always say that choreographic slides should be classed as falls. Well, he attempted a choreographic slide, and it turned into a hard crash into the boards.

It took him a while to get back into the swing of things again.

But, apart from that, he was good.

He is so embarrassed in the results area.
