That was funny the way my married kids walked in! They weren't so much holding hands, but holding pinkies. Above their heads at that! And they were kinda dancing!

When they got onto the ice, Camille started waving, while Pavel did a V-sign, and then started pointing with both his hands.

Gaah!!! The virtual advert appeared at the end of the introductions. So, I'm now 20 seconds behind.

When the camer came down, we saw Camille doing some arm stretches. And then we saw Pavel taking off his jacket and handing it over.

We didn't get back to them until just before the one minute warning. They were circulating together, but not doing any elements. Just getting ready.

And now it is their turn.

Good for the Kovalevs! Three injured ladies done with no major re-injuries, 80,000 to go. My two wishes for this event is 1) those people with the helments don't have to come out on the ice, and 2) everyone is happy at the end of their skate!

Choreography at the start was good.

Beautiful Triple Twist.

Pavel had problems with Triple Toe.

But no problems with the lift they did next.

Beautiful Throw Triple Flip.

And so was the Death Spiral.

Went out of sync early on in the combination spin, but got it back.

Apart from Pavel's mishap, that was so good!

Camille's massive smile when they finished said it all!

Louise, it's not being cruel if it's true. You're right that it is normally Camille that has problems, not Pavel.

Awww, Camille is so happy in the results area. And being really luvvy-duvvy with Pavel.

They go into 3rd position.

this program is really good for them, they made some mistakes but better than other times

This was such a redemption SP from Spencer and Emily after their nightmare of a SP at US Nats, and is quite honestly the best program I have ever seen them skate (minus the slight error on the loop). They were so present in this program and were performing fantastically, and their lifts and skating skills are very strong. They are truly making the most of this Olympic experience.

The hand down on the throw was the major error. Also slightly out of sync on the SBS spins.
