That fall for Deanna and Max really should not have influenced the GOE of the lift, it happened after the element was completed. But overall that went about as expected, considering the injury.

Me too. It says “vpn detected” when I try to access the Olympic streams. Surfshark and some other VPN same issue.

Mine does sometimes, depending on what country am I trying to get to and pretending to be in. But it's working now!

If you don't have a VPN already, try Privado free VPN and set it to Canada. Then create CBC Gem account, it's free and easy, you just need any random Canadian postcode. You can use what I used: M5W1E6 (which is funnily enough, where CBC headquarter is in Toronto )

I bough a surfshark VPN some years ago because I watch quite a bit online from other countries, it makes it easy. I did try out proton at the same time, also not too hard (and I am a complete Luddite! but I have found the best way to overcome Ludditism is to google "how do you...") and there are free ones.

I tried both Proton and Surfshark and one other. All had same result of “vpn detected”. Waste of about $30. That would buy several stuffies.

I am speechless. They were doing so well for so little practice. And this ? UGH.

Their lifts are so good normally.. that GOE was so high... of course it had to go down but they lost so many points... ugh I am sad for them. After all that happen, I was expecting mistakes but not that kind of freak fall.

I can’t download CBC gem even with VPN set to Canada.

I'm not an expert in this particular area, but wouldn't you say the lift isn't finished until the dismount/exit? As a result... I can see why they would have considered that a fall on the actual element. She seems to be saying something about how they lost six points on it, which would seem to suggest she considered it they fall on the element, perhaps invalidating it..? I don't know though, so help me understand
