3 points shy of their SB/PB, and that will keep them in 4th place if the three teams left skate cleanly

This was so close to a perfect program, but that step out will be costly, they lost around 3 points in GOE swing on that element, which will be very costly in such a tightly contested event like this one. This is probably their best material ever, this music works very well with their speed, but the program deflated a bit for me after the throw mistake. They will still be in this for a medal with no question, but they won't be quite as close or in the warmup position they will have wanted.

Not their best skate. They would have loved to have their SP at Skate America, but it was not to be.

Georgians

Perfect side by side triple Salchows. Sandra saying the placement right in front of the judges reminds her of old-style Soviet intimidation :-)

She steps out of the throw triple flip!

Let's see how things go and weather they make it through their lift.

Great Unison on the side by side spins.

Lift - as terrifying as usual. I thought they were going to go down on the second rotation/ turn.

Wow. Technical score lower than the Canadians at the end of the program. They typically get higher PCS than the Canadians so, let's see what happens.

Kurt and Sandra are saying that they didn't perform it particularly well. Didn't look a ton different to me than usual...

I think in 4 years these two are going to be amazing. Big, beautiful elements. Small mistake today aside very consistent. They do need some work on their connection and really selling the performance but that can definitely come. I also like that their height difference is smaller than is common, it really makes their synchronization and lines look very crisp and cool.

Rare mistake from them on the throw, lift looked better than in TE, spin as well, I wonder what judges will do with PCS but I guess they will be slightly in the lead for now

I wonder where they will place the Georgian team??? Performance wise they lost energy, especially towards the end

1st to 3rd place??? I think Lia & Trentt were better in my opinion
