I agree with Kurt and Sandra, that the man's technique should figure into the GOE on lifts because he really is terrible.
Funny though, Sandra makes a comment about how she stopped performing right after the step out on the throw, and yet the camera Zooms in on her with this huge dramatic facial expression

Georgian team underperformed. I don't want them to medal. There's a clear top 3 here in terms of talent (aside from Sui/Han, who are the most talented but not in the best shape).

Oh well. It's just the Olympics. 
But like I said earlier, the scores trended upward for clean skates because Sui/ Han were overscored with a mistake on the throw. And they are shadows of their former selves. Their score was too high. Kudos to Lia & Trennt for a strong, clean skate. They get a boost too, for being the top Canadian team.
Ellie & Danny got hurt by those out of sync sbs spins. And Ellie putting the hand down did not look necessary, but I guess she was a bit forward. Still, Ellie & Danny have the second highest pcs so far, for good reasons. I think Deanna and Max may have been placed slightly behind or slightly ahead of Ellie & Danny had they not had that unusual fall on their lift dismount. Oh well.

Ah, can you try using a computer browser? I didn't need to download anything, I just open https://gem.cbc.ca/ in the browser and I can watch smoothly from there. l also use the browser in my smart TV to watch from the Gem website.
