Riku / Ryuichi - I like him, he seems like a nice person, her not so much. They have a problem with one of the lifts and worse, it looks like something is wrong with him, like he is hurt or injured? Hope everything is ok with him for the FS

Yep. All jumps clean. The Germans are going to be in first place going into the free program. Hopefully they are far enough ahead that the Georgians can't catch them.

Hase/Volodin are going to be leading after the short, this was their best SP of the season. I like the choreography of this program a lot, there are a lot of wonderful tango elements and dance holds incorporated into the choreo. Of the top teams in this group, I find their speed to be the slowest, but they maximized their levels and skated cleanly.

Beautiful 3twist! YES, 3S nailed! Throw 3loop beautiful! Wonderful lift! Very low death spiral! Excellent spins! Hase has a small trip in footwork, but they will easily win this SP!

Whaat???! Did you guys see Riku all on top of Ryuichi in that twist dismount??? And they got 2.28 GOE? Puhleeze. A bunch of teams have a clear separation on the twist dismount, but never this team, and they are never ever called on it. Just given overly high GOE every time. Unfair. This team is NOT aesthetically pleasing either. And neither are the Georgians. Always overscored. Political favorites. They are NOT that good. Constantly given something for mistakes. Okay now I see M/K messed up their lift. Let's see what happens.
