Well, quads far from perfect but he stayed on his feet. Levels looked ok (judging on base value)

Grassl - very simplified entrance into the quad Lutz, basically straight down the ice with no steps or transition into it. Lutz looked a quarter short, sketchy landing into a barely saved double toe loop.

Loop and quarter short at least. Axel looked fine. Three of the first four elements under review.

Daniel is such a puzzling skater, because sometimes he hits the jumps with full rotation, and other times they're not even close. I'd say today they weren't close, other than the axle. Cool trademark spin position to end, though.

To the audience that was ostensibly a clean skate come up but the jumps were not solid. I hope the tech callers don't let them go just because he's Italian in Italy.

I'd give the lead to Gogo... yes... I am biased :). that loop looked Q.. that lutz was not good... and well, PCS wise, I fail to see where Daniel is so much better than Gogo. He should score below Cha in PCS...

All this talk of tiebreaks is stressing me. Because I want both Canada and France to go through.

Canada because I put them third in my predictions because I want to make sure Piper and Paul get a medal. And France because I want my Pairs kids to get to do their FS in the Team event.

:drama:
