Hmm... I'm canadian, but I don't think so. I feel that Laura has better ice coverage and speed, is a bit more expressive and shows more emotional and expressive variety rather than Maddie's one emotive face that she overuses, and I think choreographically it was better as well. I think this should be about five points higher than maddie?

barely beat Maddie.... I wouldn't have minded if she placed behind Maddie really. Maddie had a bigger mistake with the fall but Lara had many small problems and a big mistake on the pop.
