i'm sad the Jia's first senior season didn't turn as she wanted. she used to be so consistent

Shin Jia was way too close on the boards on the combo. I think she’s boring and without color when she makes mistakes and exquisite when she doesn’t.

Beautiful skate even with the mistake. She has all the ingridients to be among the top skaters but I always feel she needs to add a bit more energy to finish those beautiful movements and to engage the audience, she needs to be a bit more present emotionally.

I cannot help being sad, in 2021 she was challenging russias and standing on podium with Alysa Liu. Now she might not even qualify and she was clean.

She was taught russian technique and outlived expiration date of russian skaters, I guess some things are just as they are and she still managed a decent skate.
