it looked like a fall to meI don't know her program by heart, but if that first time she went down was planned it didn't look like it.

At least she's on the right edge...Compare her 3Lz3Lo combination to that of Scherbakova at the last Olympics, the difference is night and day.
Amber would have been likely second. The air came out of the program after the 2 loop. She lost about 7 points on the loop, 1.5 points on Stsq GOE, .5 points on layback GOE and 1+ points on PCS. I think she would have scored around 77.5 to 78. I hope being in the second group will free her up to laydown a 150 plus freeskate.
Yes. I surprised myself that I was relaxedRelaxing...did we watch the same event?![]()
Mental. Was it mental or physical, due to 3 axel taking so much energy? What do people think?
Yahoo articles are really idiotic. According to this "sportswriter," Alysa had a minor underrotation on a triple axel, and Amber failed to complete a combination jump. Is it that hard to find a journalist who knows something, anything about figure skating?

It's Yahoo. 'Nuff said.![]()

Well, I can dream. I’m dreaming of bronze for her. Her style of skating is my favorite. I realize she doesn’t skate as fast as others, but I love the attention to detail, and the way she skates to the music. It doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the other skater’s style. I’d love to see Kaori win. I believe she is the best skater in the competition. If you mean a shot at the podium...much as I love Isabeau, IDK if that's in the cards for these Olympics.
Agreed, time to move to Minsol Kwon. Maddie was always such a gamble. As a Canadian I am very disappointer in Maddie's skate. To me her result is not acceptable. She has really let Canada down. Just think SC needs to give up on her and look to the further. When was the last time Canada di not have some one make the free skate. Even Jen Robinson skated to a 7th place finish.
Agreed! But if Isabeau isn't on the podium this year, she's only 18, right? She'll be back.Well, I can dream. I’m dreaming of bronze for her. Her style of skating is my favorite. Is Minsol old enough to go to Worlds. Does she have the minimums?Agreed, time to move to Minsol Kwon. Maddie was always such a gamble.
I agree w him. But it is what it is.Robin Cousins seemed to think without the popped Loop Amber Glenn would've been first. But I'm not sure she she would've been. Ami Nakai was so good.
