There was a dramatic pause in the music at one point, and it seeemed to throw her for a moment. Surely at this stage of the season, she would be used to it by now.

She was good.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Evelina BARSAMOVA (LAT) is wearing a gorgeous royal blue dress.

The music was VERY different.

But, she was good.

I don't think there is any question that she has won.

And going by their exressions, I think she and her coach know it too.

Yep, she wins the FS by over 20 points, and overall by 40 points.

The boy, Simonas VOERMAN (LTU) is wearing a yellow, green and blue top that reminds me so much of the Brazilian flag , and black trousers.

I don't know what it is, but I love the music he is skating to!

Well, we know he is going to win because he is the only entry. But, will he be happy with his score?

He seems to be.

I haven't been commenting, but I just wanted to say that I have loved all the music used in this opening group so far.

HOWEVER, although I love Conchita Wurst's "Rise Like A Phoenix", the edits that we heard there now in Daniele TAMKEVIČIŪTĖ (LTU)'s programme were brutal! To the extent that it was

Unfortunately, there were issues with the skating too.

She's not happy with herself.

I maybe should have waited to post about the Group 1 music. Because I loved the music that the final skater in the group, Aleksandra VASILJEVA (LAT), was skating to as well.

Hadn't heard the song before, but it was this:

Fearless Soul - "Unstoppable"

No coach with her, as there is another girl from the same club doing her Warm-Up at the moment. So Aleksandra and a team-mate are sitting on the sofa, looking at something on a mobile phone.

They kept her waiting a long time for her scores.

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

It's well seeing that Lėja BRUŽAITĖ (LTU) belongs to the same club as Daniele TAMKEVIČIŪTĖ (LTU). Because the edits to her music were brutal too! She was skating to a couple of Muse songs.

Her royal blue and black dress would be beautiful if it didn't have that slash of illusion mesh down the front.

Skating was good, though.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

No coach with her, as there is another girl from the same club doing her Warm-Up at the moment. So Aleksandra and a team-mate are sitting on the sofa, looking at something on a mobile phone.

Maybe it's just as well. It would have been Raimo Reinsalu sitting with her.

Her team-mate, Luize GARUTA (LAT), just skated, and I loved everything about the programme!

She is wearing a red dress with black trim, and skating to a song that I wish I could remember the name of, because I have always loved it (it's not in English).

She goes into 3rd positon in both the FS and overall.

Oh no.

Marija VEISBARTE (LAT) fell near the end of her programme. She got up and carried on, but was crying the whole way through the final half minute.

And because of the time it took her to get up, the whole of her final element, the Change Foot Combination Spin, ended up being after the music had finished. (I should add, even though it will get a deduction, it was really good!)

She landed hard on her shoulder, and when she was on the sofa she was holding it and rubbing it a lot.

Jekaterina Platonova isn't comforting her any.

She goes into 5th position in both the FS and overall.

We finish with the second of the Tamkevičiūtė sisters.

Medeina TAMKEVIČIŪTĖ (LTU) is wearing a black jumpsuit with silver pattern on it.

I think I said this the last time I saw this programme, but the music was VERY different. There was a bit of everything in there!

She almost had a mis-hap getting into her finishing position. But, I think she disguised it.

She wins both the FS and overall.

Which means her sister, Daniele, finishes in 9th position in both the FS and overall.

We return now for the Free Skates in the ISU part of the event. However, we have a different running order to yesterday. Rather than being after them, the boys are now in between the girls.

And somewhat fittingly given that he scored higher than them, Daniel Ruis (AUT) is skating after his Senior counterparts instead of before them like he did yesterday.

So, we start now with the Junior girls, then we have the Senior boys, then the Junior boy, and finally the Senior girls.

Although we didn't hear the music from the start, I liked what we did hear.

She does not look very thrilled sitting on the sofa. In fact, she looks fed up.

Unfortunately, it didn't go too well. All red.
