I always love programmes to the "Burlesque" soundtrack. But, I wasn't keen on the transition from Cher's "Welcome To Bulesque" to Christina Aguilera's "Show Me How You Burlesque" in this programme.

But, that is only a minor complaint. On the whole, I really enjoyed this programme from Magdalena ZAWADZKA (POL).

She goes into 8th position.

What a strange design of a jumpsuit. The cutouts made for some very interesting silhoettes when she was doing her spins and jumps.

And you all know I am not a fan of dialogue. Never mind full speeches, like we had in this programme.

Yet, I enjoyed this programme.

Yes, I know I'm biased because I have had a soft spot for Kristen SPOURS (GBR) for a long time.

More than in the mix. She's broken Polish hearts and taken the lead!

But that doesn't matter! I enjoyed this programme at 4 Continents a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed it again today!

Will she take the lead away from Kristen?

She does. By a huge margin! She is 14.13 points ahead.

I had to laugh. Anna BERGSTROM (FIN) had a big cut-out from the back of her dress.

And then when she was waiting for her scores, they played "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake.



Oh, how I hope they do that to Paul Poirier at Worlds!

Alexa. Beautiful blue dress. Landed a 3A, but did doubles for her combination. Still a good skate and a nice program.

Lovisa AAV (SWE). I don't think I have heard such a contrast between two pieces of music in the one programme in a long time!

A beautiful song at the start, and then something that sounds like it was made by Stomp. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, look them up. They are so ingenious).

Don't think I've seen Alexa GASPAROTTO (USA) before. But, I can tell you something - the colour of that dress really suits her!

That was a beautiful programme.

I'll be keeping an eye out for her in future.
