But, I'm currently eating. So, I'm going to miss the first few.

Right, I'm back. I take it this is the Warm-Up for the Bronze II & III Ladies FS and Bronze IV Ladies FS.

If it is, then the only international skater in the Adult ranks is on the ice. Marina KRUKOVSKA (CZE), who is the sole entrant to Bronze IV (she will be back later for the Interpretation competition, where she will have opposition).

I take it that was Marina's mother sitting with her. I could see a similarity between them.

After seeing how the Polish skaters in the previous competition were supporting each other, it was nice to see that she had somebody with her.

Right, onto the next group. Which contains all the Silver level skaters.

That was funny. When the first Silver skater, Alicja KOSINSKA (POL), was waiting for her scores, a coach was wandering around in front of the camera. And Alicja was trying to stop herself having kittens at this!

She thought it was so funny that this coach was oblivious to the camera being there.

And I agree with her!

Awwwww. The reaction of skater #2, Maria JAROSZYNSKA (POL), and the two ladies with her when her scores were announced. They were so surprised and delighted!

She goes into 2nd position.

Although it took a couple of attempts to get it right, I loved the way the two ladies sitting either side of Maria made a heart around her with their arms, and Maria made a small heart in front of herself with her hands.

I take it that the last two skaters, Alicja RAZNIEWSKA (POL) and Monika HARTWIK (POL) are the Young Adult skaters within this competition. Because they do look VERY young. Like, early twenties.

EDIT: Now that I have checked the ages, I'm not sure who in this group would be in Class I. I would have thought all of them would be of Young Adult age!​

Alicja went into what was 2nd position at the time.

And then Monika went into the lead to win the combined competition. And got totally deafened by the screams of the girls sitting with her!

My goodness! The Top 4 were covered by 1.64 points, and the whole field was covered by 3.75 points.

The other two Silver competitions only had 1 entry each.

Dorota MUNDT (POL) won SIlver III Ladies.
Tomasz DZIUBA (POL) won Silver I Men.

Now we have our last resurfacing of the day.

Awwwww. Another lovely surprised reaction, this time from Malgorzata GIERACH (POL) when she found out she had won the Gold Young Adult competition.

She and her coach were delighted, jumping up and down in their chairs while hugging!

The winner of the Gold II Men's competition, Mateusz KOKOSINSKI (POL) had two companions with him. And their reaction was a bit more subdued - they just applauded, and then hugged.

And that is his day over, because he is the only one of the three Men's skaters that is not entered in the Interpretation competition.

Right, we finish the day, and the Adult part of the event, with the Interpretation competitions. First up, the two Men.

After winning the Silver Medal in the Gold II Men's competition that just finished, Marcin ZAMOJSKI (POL) was back with a Eurovision medley. 2015 winner "Heroes" by Måns Zelmerlöw; followed by 2012 winner "Euphoria" by Loreen.

But this was followed by the Silver I Men's champion, Tomasz DZIUBA (POL), who was skating to the Super Mario music. But, like Kim LUCINE (MCO) all those years ago, he was dressed as Mario!!!



He won. And deservedly so!

Monika HARTWIK (POL) was first to skate. And everything about her programme was beautiful.

She again had a crowd with her. And again they tried to deafen everybody with their screaming when her scores were announced.

Bronze II & III Champion Agnieszka PASTUSIAK (POL) did a programme to "Welcome To Burlesque" by Cher. And she was really good!

Wow!!! We have a tie at the top. Hartwik and Pastusiak both scored 11.50.

And because this competition is purely about PCS, there is no tie-breaker.

Imagine if we ended up with 2 Champions!

But, straight away, they were knocked down to joint 2nd. Silver III Champion Dorota MUNDT (POL) took over the lead with a score of 12.00.

Awwww. Another lovely reaction from Bronze II & III Silver Medallist Anna WIERUCKA (POL) and her coach when she got her scores.

It was 4th position this time. But they were just as delighted!

And she was followed by the Bronze II & III Bronze Medallist Katarzyna KONOPACKA (POL). She didn't have anybody with her.

She went into 2nd position.

So, the tie is now for 3rd position.

Well, we have now reached the final day of the Maria Olszewska Memorial. And all that is left to do is to complete the Junior and Senior Singles categories.

We have a Junior double-bill, followed by a Senior double-bill. In each case, boys followed by girls.

After commenting a few days ago that somebody's costume was like something out of a Tim Burton film, we start the final day with a programme to... music from a Tim Burton film! Specifically "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

And Edoardo Luigi PROFAIZER (ITA) is even dressed as Jack Skellington!
