No medal for Katia... im genuinely on the verge of tears rn. She NEEDED this after the tough season she's had.

Look at that string of green!!!

(OK, so there are a couple of red boxes at the start, but that is just a minor detail).

My kid Chris already doing a debrief! :drama: Come on, throw away the coach's hat and just savour the moment!

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall!!!

:cheer: WELL DONE KRISTEN!!! :cheer:

Wow!! Bradie skated so well here!! 😮

She is back into the shape she was prior to injury when her and Rika Kihira were battling the Russians in the GP series, prior to covid.

This is why USA should wait till after 4CC to announce their selections for Worlds.

Amber - Lock

However, Bradie and Sarah to me are ending the season stronger than Alysa and Isabeau. I would much rather have these two at Worlds over the ex-Worlds medalists.

I don't think that is ever going to change.

Adam Rippon was talking about this recently, and that knowing what the rest of your season looks like after Nationals allows you to plan your training so you hit your peak at the right time.

That makes sense.

I also think Alysa earned her spot and is heading to peaking with a 200+ performance at Worlds which will probably place her in the top 6.

Amber, despite being undefeated this season still scares me, as she may feel the pressure at Boston.

Isabeau is unknown… mind you, she wasn’t that bad at the Italian event with her 188 score.

I always thought Japan, with Rion and Rinka were the best skaters not to be at Worlds. But, the duo Americans with Bradie and Sarah, left behind is actually more of a miss.

The one good thing, is that this will really boost Bradie’s confidence heading into the Olympic season.

It is very possible that she wins. As much as I love Katia, I don't think she can beat clean Bradie this season, even with home bonus.
Ok
So she’s not only won, but she scored 220 points
Keep that up and she’s a set up for an Olympic birth next year!!!!!!
