That's happened before but Simova and Aksenov tend to score quite a bit higher than the other team in the free dance.

Anyone got any replays of the senior rhythm dance? I couldn't catch it live and replay has disappeared off youtube due to copyright strike.

I saw the first 4 partnerships, but didn't see the rest (Lucy and Illias onwards). So I'm looking them too. But there are none on YouTube yet.
Well, this happening has justified my decision to watch 4 Nationals LIVE rather than Germany or Spain. I went for 4 Nationals because it was on YouTube and I was worried about copyright claims, and what I feared would happen did.
At least the other two events are on platforms where they can be viewed afterwards.

Day 1 finished with Ice Dance, and Day 2 starts with Ice Dance. We move from the Senior SD to the Junior FD. 7 partnerships, arranged into a group of 3 partnerships; followed by a group of 4 partnerships.

Glad to have some company!
I had been hoping to watch some of the Lithuanian Championships as well (they started at 8am our time), but try as I may, I can't find a livestream. But, it means I can focus on 4 Nationals, and popping over to Spain for a couple of programmes I want to see LIVE (my Ice Dance kids, and a Junior girl that I adopted in spirit a very long time ago, but only started thinking about formalising it yesterday).

I know it is tradition for girls to wear white boots and boys to wear black boots. But with these costumes that Villo Mira SZILAGYI / Istvan JARACS (HUN) are wearing, it would look better the other way around.
That said, I wouldn't advise anybody to wear a costume as white as Istvan's. That must be a nightmare to keep clean!
Very strange fall for Villo Mira.
They had a decent lead over the Vlceks (CZE) after the Short, so it will be interesting to see if they keep it.

Ach! With trying to do reminders for 4 events, I knew I'd make a mess somewhere along the line!
Sorry about that. I've fixed it now.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I would probably not have noticed until everything is over.
Now that we're at a Warm-Up, I think I'll check my posts in the other threads, just in case I have done the same there.

Erm, could the person doing the filming please check their camera and do the necessary repairs now before the next partnership comes on.

Oh, I hope so. Because it is Aleksandra that I particularly want to see.
If her club doesn't, her fiancé might. At the start of last season, he was posting individual videos of her programmes to his YouTube channel. But then he stopped.
But, it is still a shame that the event doesn't seem to be being broadcast.

The graphics are crystal clear, but what is being filmed does seem to be blurred. So, I think it might actually be the camera, rather than something our end.
Which could tie in with that message that came up during the Warm-Up. I can't remember the exact wording (and can't be bothered winding back), but it said something along the lines that there was something wrong with the image database, and that it could no longer film in HD.

We now take a break from Ice Dancing so that the Senior girls can conclude their campaign. 14 girls, arranged into a group of 4; followed by a resurfacing; followed by two groups of 5.
