Junhwan really, really badly want to avoid military service it seems

I think this 2 quads layout works really well for him. He can still get tons of points from the backloaded combos and the 2 3As.
Also find it interesting that he does 3Lz3Lo in the short but 3F3Lo in the free 🤔

I wonder if Yuma knows what's at stake for Junhwan, and whether that will impact his own performance...

Not the skate Yuma might have wished for but kudos to him for energetically staying committed to his program. There is so much I love about his skating even when not perfect.

I didn't know Yuma is also training the 4Lz, that was the first time ever he tried it I think?

I wonder if he treated this AWG as an experiment to try out new jump layout... Whether he knows Jun's situation or not, I hope this works in Jun's favour 🤞

Good fight, Yuma!
...Thank you Yuma! 😭

Also, I just missed Shun's skate but regardless of the two falls seems to me his PCS is still a crime (per usual)

Kagiyama’s layout is just….asinine. Kagiyama doesn’t have a good lutz. That 4Lz is just as silly as Sato’s 4F.

It's obvious that Yuma wants to try new layout in AWG.

JUNNNNN DID IT 😭😭😭

I'm so, so happy for him!!! After all his injury struggles he sooo deserves this! Now I hope he still have energy to perform at the same level in 4CC and Worlds!
Hopefully next week he can just perform with joy. This week was so exciting, but you could feel the tension behind the skate as he was doing EVERYTHING he could.

But really, if I were him, I probably would skate really bad next week because the tension is over.
