I should clarify that I thought the calls were harsh relative to what some of the other skaters have been called/not called for. Jackie Wong from the Examiner, for example, screencapped a pretty clear lip from Gold at Bompard and she didn't even get so much as a !. Zhenya's lutz wasn't called yesterday and it looked at least on a flat in the replay.

One could argue that the tech panel probably didn't review Gracie's flip and Evgenia's lutz because they were fully rotated.
I loved Adelina's performance yesterday and that she was taking the risk and going for the difficult combos. She has to do that in the SP also. It's good to have her back. when she rotates her combos, flutz or not, she will be a force to be reckoned with at Nationals. To me it looks like she only has to get in better physical shape.

And Adelina's facial expression doesn't make it any better. Somehow I think it was chosen intentionally.
