yeah that is really funny to me because Tarasova is obviously a great choreographer. But she is a bit like Zueva in some aspects like sometimes she has like a vision for a skater, how he should skate, what style he should have etc. and she really makes it work sometimes even against all odds. And then she has some skaters she doesn't know what to do with them. She tries to play with their strength but the overall program doesn't work. Adelina is in the second category. Tatiana doesn't know what to give her. She doesn't have a vision for her like she did for Mao for example. It is really interesting.

And that my friend is how we got stuck with her skating to Black Swan/Swan Lake for the 4th time (SP, LP, 2ex). That was Tarasova idea. And apparently Buianova is all like (paraphrasing), "Tarasova can just bring out the best in Adelina, she so understands her."

See, that's why I wanted to see a ChaCha/Samba/fun up-beat SP program for next season I think she can pull it off Maybe sexy, I don't think she ever did sexy as a skating program :think:

I think most of us hope for this versus watching Black Swan version 4. She did perform it an awful lot, so it should be a program she's comfortable with :agree: I'd be disappointed if she keep her SP

Just watched the SP again. Well she has good edging in it but there's nothing special about it i.e. I don't think it will stand out verses the other ladies SP.
