Hahahah I don't remember saying that I'm not a fan.
I do like her skating and the energy in it, not the drama.
Since I'm one of those people who think it's unacceptable to be hateful towards a skater but completely acceptable to voice a constructive critical opinion (and I take your post as that):
I know that it could come across as "drama", but this isn't her intention.
She once said that she is aware that she (as well as Yulia and V/T etc) are now in the public eye.
And even though she doesn't like the media, she understands why people want to know so much and tries to cooperate (that's why she's giving an interview even when she doesn't feel like it, like after the Ice Show in Moscow recently where she had a bad skate and talked to the press afterwards even though all she wanted to do was to get home)
And most importantly:
She said that she knows that people pay a lot of money to watch her skate. And she wants the money to be worth it. Of course firstly figure skating is a sport- but it's also, to a small but existent part, a performance for the audience and she wants to please them as well.
I think her and Elena Radionova have the same set of mind regarding this.
It's just a personality thing. Some people are performers, some aren't.
While Yulia Lipnitskaya seems to feel a bit uneasy when many people are fussing over her or want to get a part of her and is more of a private person, Adelina seems to be able to feed of that. Remember Sochi- the audience seemed to really carry her at the end with their support and she interacted with them etc
Neither is better or worse
