Alena is born in Moscow, so she probably lives with her family. For Alina it was harder, as she was born in Izhevsk and had to move to Moscow.

I don't think that was a Lz-Lo combination she tacked on as her second jumping pass, but it was definitely a change from having the combination as her first pass and the solo Lutz as her second. Nice to see her continuing to try new things

What a delight she is to watch! I'm quite hopeful that she'll have some sort of Loop combo in her programs next season, if she can take off with a deeper outside edge it'll be the Lz - Lo but with the new scoring system potentially awarding +5 GOE 3F - 3Lo might get her just as many points also finally an StSq4 in the SP

Alyonka unexpectedly appeared today at a local competition... without warmup, competing in sweatpants and Russia jacket.. I hope there will be a video, it was a sight to behold...
Alёna substituted Diana Guseva - another Eteri's girl who was planned to participate. The competition takes place at rink of "Khrustalny". I guess Diana was injured or caught a cold in the very last moment so Alёna has no time to go home and take her costume. She is 1st after SP https://youtu.be/yLtarvq7MxY?t=9618 and has 6.54 points of advantage over Anna so she can say "it's easy game dude".

Now that Alena has 3 Lz - 3 Loop combo and is practicing a nice 3A, I can hope for Gold next season. I love eteri girls but Alena is my favorite of all.

I do. Much better than original music, fits her very well. I see her as lady-in-waiting or dancer at royal court, not as hip-hop dancer

I am happy to see she has her own thread. I watched Alena's FS from the GPF and was both wowed and captivated. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Her Stella's theme program is simply gorgeous and fluid. I hope she has a long succesfull career. Will be cheering for her! Shes what you get if you put yuna and sasha cohen together.
