Upd. Today she explained why in April 18 she participated at local competition only in SP - according to the rules to let other girls achieve new sport category a certain number of competitors must take participation. Alёna already has that category that's why she didn't skate FS.

Well to see her compete was a very pleasant surprise and also rare sight in such clothes.. :p

A: В произвольную, если по юниорам или в обе но если по мастерам

If I understand correctly, it means she's planning to include triple axel in FS if it's a junior competition and in both programs if it's senior..
 
3A, yay, that was my wish! :love:
Hopefully that also means she'll take it easy on the quad(s). It's great to see skaters push the boundaries and all, but I'm happier if she takes it one step at a time. And I personally just love 3As more then quads, so :p
 
She also confirmed that she will add 3Lz-3Lo combo next season. So, 3A and 3Lz-3Lo.
About 4T, she said it didn't go well :biggrin:
 
Ugh, I wish people would stop asking her about Alexey Erokhov. It was kind of cute at first, but she's just a kid. It's kind of creepy that all these people who don't know her are assuming things about her personal life.

It’s definitely the smarter bet to focus on the 3A in the long term, as there’s a far greater likelihood of her still being able to do it in senior competition compared to the quads, whose persistence is an enormous question mark.

I think it's probably her peers asking those questions :) It's ok for their age I guess.

That's true. I guess me being 23, I think about it from the perspective of someone my age asking her those kinds of questions in which case I'm like, ew, no whyyyyy? But if it's other young teenagers, its probably not a big deal. She seems to be good-natured and have a playful sense of humor, so she might not even be bothered by it.
