After 4 weeks there are still no official statements. That is very strange.

Not only is it strange but it's negatively affecting a
Aliona's career. She needs to be on the ice every day and I'm in the fire movie where she wants to be. Eteri is extremely pissed off that this transfer happened after Sasha left so dramatically in May. But are anger needs to subside and she needs to let Allie on the go Wrigley or whatever terms she has to..AK gave EG 3 plus fantastic years.

Remember he wanted Sasha badly and was going to make her his one only top girl and then aliona basically falls in his lap. I want him to show the same desire with Aliona who is and was the best lady skater last season and the most beautiful skater too. Sasha makes us ooh and ahh because of all her amazing quads and athleticism. Aliona on the other hand makes us ooh and ahh because she's such a beautiful skater the best and most beautiful triple axel ever for the ladies. Plushenko needs to appreciate what she brings to the table just as much as what Sasha brings to the table.

It is possible that she could not formally change team until a new transfer window opens.

Yes it's possible. But let's hope she gets a gift from EG and the FED tomorrow and on her 17th birthday she gets her transfer release and can get on with her career because she needs to get skating. I'm wondering if we'll even see her at test skates in three weeks if she's not in decent form.

That's where I get lost.
Even assuming the transfer is not possible right now, that has nothing to do with the right of the skater to train how/where/with_who she please.
Being part of a team in an individual sport does not usually impose the ahtlete to train alone or with some trusted people, while representing his current team that may have a differemt head coach.
Problem could arise it, since you train elsewhere, the team would not register you for competitions, but that is not possible with an athlete of national and international interest like Aliona.

EG doesn’t even have to release her, any administrative person in Sambo can sign Aliona’s documents. The problem at the moment is that Aliona didn’t even apply to transfer (submit her papers) in the first place, that’s why RusFed keeps commenting on this. She can’t get released, if she didn’t apply for it...

I don’t think Plushenko would’ve just forgotten about paperwork... is Aliona hesitating, I wonder?

you have to remember that she’s a minor she’s not the one holding up the process it’s between the clubs they’re the one who is delaying it not aliona by herself. i mean even if she submitted she will still represent sambo

Well, if nothing else came out of quarantine, she definitely got much more flexible, which is exciting because if she could have a weak spot, I definitely think that was it. I hope she has a very happy birthday. While I really highly doubt that there is anything she can do about the transfer rules, and it seems as though she is training regularly as she should be, knowing that there are clerical things unresolved I imagine must be stressful.

I am very very curious about the transfer given that it's not even been applied for. I am dying to know what happened at Sambo 70, but I get the sense we never will.

Yes, if they've been working together for 6 years like his post suggests, then I guess he was helping her even before she joined Team Tutberidze...?

If so, then it's not surprising that she considered him to be her favorite coach. She does look very comfortable with him, and I'm glad to see her looking so happy! :yes:

Not in a sense of going back, rather if she’s possibly had other options on the table and she still has them in mind
Aliona definitely won’t be doing the paperwork herself, rather her parents or Plushenko. But given the comments of the fed, I’d assume they’re strongly hinting they want it to get done rather sooner than later.

But that’s a conversation not for today. Today’s Aliona’s birthday, hope she has a wonderful day!
