That "Dream Music Choices" thread on the edge got me thinking... what music would you guys pick for Aliona for the Olympic season? I've literally imagined programs in my head for her to the point where I wanna contact Danny G and see if he needs help since he has so many ones to choreograph for next year. 
I chose Cloud Atlas for Alena. I'm a big fan of the film (especially the soundtrack) and I've been waiting for a really gifted skater to come along and skate to this music. The end title is so gorgeous and I think could easily be condesenced to 4 minutes (since a lot of it is quite repetitive). As I said over in that thread I think it has a Bolero quality to it in that it builds and builds to an amazing climax.

Hmm, I haven’t thought too much about it because I fear disappointment but I’d love to see Aliona skate to the soundtrack for the movie Girl with a Pearl Earring, which I don’t think has been done in skating before. I’d also be happy to see her do Atonement or Vertigo, or even Rach 2 for something more traditional but Girl with a Pearl Earring would be amazing!

I wonder if they maybe keeping the music of one of her free programs from this season and just do Danny G version of it
I have a feeling she'll want to put those programs behind her. If they decide to re-use a program then Adios Nonino still makes the most sense. But I'd love to see new ones, a fresh start.

I know, I really wish Eteri would bring on another choreographer for this season, or even do some of the girls' choreo herself since she did an amazing job with Alena's Adios Nonino.
The only problem I have with bringing back Adios Nonino is that I'm so attached to the original layout. I'm not sure how it could be rearranged in a way that's better than the original (it was already performed to such perfection). Of the fully-backloaded SPs from that cycle it's the most fully realised IMO. That beautiful Ina Bauer-2A at the end for instance: we wouldn't see that in the new version cause she'd have to do the 3A first.
I am HERE for an Edith Piaf short program! I really enjoyed Katelyn Osmond's one from the last Olympic season. Would definitely showcase Alena's personality.
I loved her Adele ex as well and if she were to do an Adele program again it would be cool if she did the instrumental of Set Fire to the Rain, it's pretty epic even without the lyrics...

This is really OT, but how do you embed youtube videos like in your post? I think it looks much neater than pasting only the link but doesn't clog up the thread as much as embedding the whole video via the insert media function.This is probably a huge stretch but

I think YouTube decides how to transfer the data. I did what I usually do to transfer a link and this is the result. This particular post came from the Rogue One original soundtrack list on YouTube and, perhaps, these are transferred differently. Below the image, extreme right, is an arrow; tap it to reveal a dialogue box with the link at the top. Tap-hold the link and another box appears below with the option to Copy. Tap Copy and the link is stored to insert in your GS post. Use Tap-Hold to position the link in your GS post; a dialogue box opens with the option to Paste. I am seeing changes in the way data is transferred both from YouTube and Instagram very recently so the platforms must be refining their tech methods.
I am blushing
because NO ONE EVER asks me for tech advice! My nephew laughed heartily at that one! Hope this helps

The change was in the forum engine. The forum recognizes a link to Youtube and fetches the title and thumbnail from it.
BTW, you can still insert a link as is with the "Insert link" button.
