Well I now really wonder if Danil will ever read Golden Skate.. Because the last few days I've seen so much backlash against his choreo for Alenka and Alina Z. I really hope Eteri feels the urgent to hire some more talented chreographers. I like Danill but it's a hit and miss for him.
 
They're smart enough not to read such comments. If they would read these kinds of comments, their students would never win anything. There're too many haters and self-proclaimed “experts”.

And again.
There's a reason why this event's supposed to be closed to the public. The main purpose of this test skates for skaters to get reviews and corrections for the programs and elements from professionals and real experts not comments from some .... trolls on the internet who saw programs from low-quality video...;)
 
The Sp is a bit better than LP in terms of music cuts. I think she will be fine and get good scores as long as she is consistent and she is. The first 2A will be replaced by the 3A maybe?

I think she might replace it with 3A by JGPF or J worlds so that she has a chance to beat Trusova.

yeah it makes no sense to do 2A as first jump if she does not intend to do the 3A. Maybe it was just a test skate so she did not push for it.

Yes and training alongside Tru and Anna will motivate her to change it midway. All their jumps have such great distances. What is the secret in Eteri's camp?

Anyone know how many hours per day these girls train on average?

not more than others as I remember.
1h15-30m the ice time - twice a day.
+ choreography and physical preparation every day for about 1-2 hours.
six days a week.

That's 3hr on ice time per day. That's less than Rafael's camp who apparently does 8 hrs in total for both on ice and off ice. But it's similar to TCC camp so I guess training quantity isn't the most important factor. But then again Rafael's camp only does 5 days a week I heard so maybe everyone is different [emoji16]
 
Eteri's group works 6 days a week but except Sunday everyone choose 1 more day as his/her personal rest day (according to some Periscope translations of Alina and Alёna) so they work no more than 5 days a week. But I can't exclude that in the summer when there are no school lessons all of them work 6d a week.
 
Just letting you know that, after spending the past 2 weeks working on it, I have finally posted the update to Alena's Original Post:

When I started, I would never have expected that a skater that had only done one season on the international stage would end up with a Fan Fest whose full version (i.e. before removing duplicate videos) was 27 pages long! :jaw: 21 of those pages being the video list alone. :drama:

Just shows you how popular Alena is that she has so many videos! ;) :biggrin:

May I make a plea? Could somebody tell me what the music is that Alena used for her SP in both the 2016–17 and 2015–16 seasons? I recognised it within 2 notes of the music starting, but my mind has just gone blank as to what it is. And it is REALLY annoying me.

Also, I admit that I was finding it confusing working out what level she was competing in at competitions before the 2015–16 Season. So, if I have made any mistakes, please point them out.

Anyway, I hope you like the update

Thank you so much, dante. It was driving me mad not remembering what it was, because I have heard that music so often through the years. And unfortunately, the music recognition software I normally resort to wasn't recognising it.

I'll edit it in now.

And thank you for the kind words. I hadn't seen much of Alena before I started the update, so it was a real voyage of discovery for me.
