Mishin is in St. Petersburg. Davydov seems to be doing pretty well with his girls, if we consider Moscow, but I repeat, this is nothing more than pure fantasy, there are no information not even rumors about Alyona leaving Eteri. But the longer there will be talking about it the higher is the probability people would start to repeat it everywhere, under every Alyona's video. "Did you hear that? She is leaving. Finally..." and other BS.

Alena may even prefer Sergei to Eteri. But she wont leave Eteri. Nor should she. How has leaving the great Eteri worked out for Zhenya, Polina and Dasha? :eeking: They are not as good as they were when they were coached by Eteri. Alena is doing great but what matters most is what she does as a senior not a junior. So no one should be upset that Sasha outscores Alena now. Things could be differentin 2 years.
 
regarding a coaching change, i think it would be senseless to do so unless she begins to feel similar to zhenya after a few seasons into her senior career. she is having success right now, and until that begins to not happen, she doesn't have any reason to look in that direction.

also, just an opinion on her SP, i would love to see her bring this music back later in her senior career, maybe for 2022. it really is magical and very different from all other programs. it's spectacular right now, but give her a few years to develop as a senior and then bring it back... :luv17:
 
I wonder if she will be invited to skate in the gala at COR. If I remember correctly she skated in the Euros gala last season but not sure if GPs invite local skaters who didn’t compete to perform.

I don't think that would be usual, on the other hand in Finland we saw their synchro skating team during gala, so maybe...

When skaters leave Eteri they don't become better. Alena should do nothing in the near future as far as a coaching change goes.
