Alena has said on her ask.fm that she trains the 3A, but it's not very stable. Her goal this season is to build a reputation for consistency as she gets ready to move to seniors, so risking the 3A probably isn't worth it to her right now.

3A isn't going to help her win the technical battle against the quadsters if they can land them. If they bomb, she won't need the 3A to beat them anyway. It's a smart strategy on her end to aim for clean programs.

Alena keeps looking more beautiful every time I look at her. But it’s not solely about beauty, she has an expressiveness at her age already that is truly unique.

Yes...she has a distinct and unique way of translating music purely thru some of the most eloquent and proficient figure skating movements. It’s as if the music gives her movements a soul to express itself thru. That might be too out there but that’s the way I see it. She’s not overtly theatrical but more ethereal like being in the presence of a waterfall.
