I have never seen before as beautiful skating or anything like this, and I immediately fell in fan of that gorgeous creature.

In Finland old stupid (but official!) name for a figure skating was "kaunoluistelu" meaning "beautiful skating". Well, IMO Aliona is in "beautiful skating" and others just skate figures.

Alionas instagram (official) is worst and laziest ever. Updates about 9 weeks period... European champion and no update?

Dasha also said that she shared a room with Aliona at Euros, which REALLY confused me because Anna said that she was supposed to be sharing a room with Aliona, except that she stayed with her parents for most of the time. :confused: Maybe they had a triple room?

In Russian we call "skates" - "коньки" - "little horses". Our ancestors came up with this name probably because "horse" was synonymous with speed for them.

So "Конек Чайковской" it's "Tchaikovskaia's skate" (one skate). Elena Tchaikovskaia it's coach of Maria Butyrskaya.


Yes, Russian skaters stand on two small horses and ride them on ice.:laugh:

This is actually not a secret. I known before that Alyona lives "at a River Station". This is not the "place". This is the area around the metro station "River Station". The size, approximately 1.5 per 1 km in which tens of thousands of people live. In addition, there is major bus station - there every day a lot of people come to work from the nearest Moscow region. It's VERY crowded all the time, believe me (I was there regularly for a while). To say "he/she lives at the River station" is to say nothing.

and the Metro ends at Rechnoy Vokzal, from where the buses depart to Sheremyetevo Airport and all destinations north of Moscow. Including Khimki, which is a fast growing city of app 250000 population, outside the MKAD ring road perimeter.

Not exactly - over the past four years, the green line of the metro was extended to two stations behind the "River station" (Rechnoy Vokzal) - "Belomorskaya" and "Khovrino". But residents of this area habitually call this area "at the River station" (also because the name of the area is given by the river station itself).

Alyona for example can live here, or here, or here and all this "at the River station"(despite the fact that last one closer to "Belomorskaya")

In the realities of Moscow, to say "she lives at the River station" is far from "whereabouts"
 
I don’t think she lives in Khimki, she once posted a photo geotagged Khimki during the Novogorsk training camp, which is nearby.
