She has a tattoo there. During the summer it was visible in some of her insta posts and a fan was asking about it. She said it's not a real one, but obviously it is. In this picture you see a glimpse of it: https://www.instagram.com/p/CDiTbQXpKpR/
The tattoo is on the inner side of her left lower arm, which is covered by a small tape, but as you can see it in this picture, those tapes cover much bigger part of her arm and apparently they have nothing to do with the tattoo. She has a tattoo there. I don't know why she covers it. Maybe it is something personal or figure skating is too conservative or because she is not 18 yet...
Maybe she got more tattoos in the meantime? The tattoo is on the inner side of her left lower arm, which is covered by a small tape, but as you can see it in this picture, those tapes cover much bigger part of her arm and apparently they have nothing to do with the tattoo.
Here you can see the small tape that covers the tattoo:

(In Kazan, at the Cup of Russia, she covered it the same way)

Doesn't seem to be the case - her arm isn't taped for the medal ceremony, so the tattoo on the inside of her forearm is visible, but no sign of any other tattoos!Maybe she got more tattoos in the meantime?![]()
I can assure you, even for russian speakers it's sometimes hard to understand Aliona.Aliona being Aliona

Alyona the teenage rebel got herself a tattoo around spring, since it is visible in older photos.
Yes, finally we now know what the tattoo is about: https://www.instagram.com/p/CIFz6yQpXPA/Alyona the teenage rebel got herself a tattoo around spring, since it is visible in older photos.
Apparently it reads Sequitur cor tuum "He/She/It follows your heart" which is either grammatically incorrect Latin, since "Follow your heart" should read Sequere cor tuum ....
yes, but with as many national team members who have it and are missing competition i would think Rusfed would make exceptions, or count Rostelecom as a 2nd stage for those who were there. it wouldn't be fair if they didn't, it's out of the athletes control.Does it mean that Aliona doesn't fulfill the selection criteria for the national championship? (participation of 2 stages required)
I just read about Aliona testing positive for covid in the Russian ladies thread. I hope it's the kind where she tested positive but does not get symptoms and it's testing negative soon.Oh no, just read the news... but the way they approach it it's really no wonder so many skaters got it...![]()
