Alena Kostornaia

Some athletes, myself included, take a long time to learn how to train properly. Unfortunately for Aliona, the clock is ticking and she is running out of time.

I also had problems with coaches and trainers and still do. I have found that coaches have egos too, which often causes them to take the wrong mental approach to a complicated personality.

i hope this latest coaching gambit by team Tut forces Aliona into a corner and she comes out swinging…Aliona against the world!

Some random thoughts.

(1) Aliona is not missing regular practice time. Good.
(2) She is not doing run-throughs as many as others. Probably not good enough?
(3) She is an emotional girl, She does not need to take down her thank-you post after reading Daniil's interview. I am sure Dannil is speaking his heart, that he really wants his students to be successful, and prefers to see that success in competitions. However, Daniil could word that part better, because Aliona is very sensitive after the return. Maybe Daniil uses this as a way to push her? Aliona does need some push, I guess.
(4) Another possible reason for not doing that many run throughs: afraid of possible injuries? Sasha just withdrew from NHK because of a foot injury. But she needs to be able to skate the two programs cleanly and convincingly.

As Hammer24 and other pointed out, the clock is ticking and I hope Aliona works with her coaches (her best friends -per florin
) to attack all problems together. She has already made big progress and if she wants, she can still make the team.

Well after such an interview i would not look at coaches, choreographer as tge best friends in such a situation the opposite it would get harder to trust them when you have to be scared that you have to read such things in an interview.

Other friends (in the sports world) she does not have. A friend is "deeds, not words." All the others are either false friends who decide their own interests or, at best, people who have come up with an idealized picture (of person, of sports) for themselves. An idol is important to many fans (especially uber fans of the leading Instagram groups). "Everything is fine Alyona, we will love you in any case, just for the fact of your existence" (from people she doesn't know) - such "friendship" is ruining

I do think the coaches are her best friends, "best" not necessarily in her personal life but in her professional life. You may have very different opinions about the team, which I understand (although definitely not agree with), but let's put our difference aside, I think you'd agree that Aliona must work closely with and listen to her coaches at this critical moment. I wish I could be at the rink and tell Aliona this.

The thing is very simple. The TT system is based on 1 million program runs per day. For all. If you can't manage this training regime (for whatever reason), you are lazy and need to be motivated with well-intentioned public complaints.
Are you blaming the TT system for Sashas injury? I'm so frustrated for aliona being back there and just seemingly suffering every day not being at her best then having to live with Danils stupid comments.

I still enjoy her beautiful skating and hope it can become magical again.

Well, why not discuss it? We can discuss whether Alyona is incredibly beautiful or insanely beautiful? :)
At least she's exceptionally beautiful. Can you name a contemporary beauty who's as beautiful as her? There are maybe but I don't know any.
2-3 years ago when her facial bones were not fully grown and looked slightly uneven my chummy warned me that she was to become an exceptionally beautiful woman. I'm quite impressed.

Her skating was exceptionally beautiful, I want to see that beauty again, and I believe I will.

I guess Aliona's English is not good enough to read RLT, so all is good. :ROFLMAO:
