Update on Sasha:
Tartu camp #2 is over. Next event on the calendar would be the test skates in the second week of September.
The situation with his programs is undefined. While other skaters performed their new SP and FS at the Tartu gala, Sasha did a new program (not Sabre Dance, that's all I can/am allowed to say) and his old FS from last season. What does this mean? I guess we will find out either in a Mishin interview or at the test skates.

You can find some photos from the camp on his fanpage. At one point he had a nosebleed during a training session but he seemed to be fine the next day.

The new program he skated to at Tartu has a planned 4T-3T (he executed 3T-3T in the gala) and a solo 3Lz, which means it could be either a SP or a FS. Since he performed his old FS at the gala, it's possible they intend to keep his old FS from last season. This is speculation of course. And I hope it isn't true because I don't see the point in keeping a program that never scored well in terms of PCS. It's not like Sasha has problems learning new programs.

Edit:
As for the new program music, I've figured out what it is. Sindra, or whoever manages the Mishin Camps instagram account now, didn't do a very good job of disguising the song. The guitar riff is pretty distinct. They don't want to reveal the name for now and I respect that. What I will say is that it is a very famous song. I know, it doesn't say much, since Mishin isn't very adventurous in terms of music choices.

Natasha Ponarina went to Tartu in May and took some photos of Adam Solya's collaboration with Tuktik and Sasha at the camp. Unfortunately, there's only one photo that she posted in which any portion of Sasha's face can actually be seen. This is it:

Sidenote:
I'm starting to "miss" this Caruso program, even though I have never even seen it. But surely a new program would be better than an old one which we (and the judges) have seen at nearly 15 competitions last season?

Beautiful "photo".
It was originally just a screenshot actually but after editing it turned out really well.
Some HQ screenshots are much more true to life than the vast majority of figure skating photos (even those taken by pros using full-frame cameras).

Very nice!

I want the Caruso program! I liked the Sinatra one well enough, but I agree that it isn't worth keeping for another season. It's not of the calibre of Oblivion, which one could have understood if they had kept at the time, as it was exceptional (not that I'd want them to have kept it; it had been skated so well already.)

Sasha left his house at 5am today and drove around St. Petersburg for over an hour (at one point parking along the bank of the river Neva to watch the sunrise) before having his breakfast at his favourite cafe. I guess he is in a very good mood. He uploaded 13 stories onto instagram in a span of 2.5 hrs.

Sidenote:
I made a fanfest for one of Sasha's bffs, Danya Parkman. He skates with the lovely Lena Pavlova now, so I have high hopes for them.
It's a strange coincidence that most of Sasha's closest friends in skating are really tall.

Quite busy lately so the updates won't be as often. Anyway, there is really nothing going on right now.
He won't be taking part in the 1st stage of the Cup of St Petersburg. But that comes as no surprise. My impression is that he and/or his programs are not completely ready yet.

Looks like we have the first competition of the season.

Lombardia Trophy 2017.
He is on the entries list as of today.

It would depend on what shape Denis Ten is, in part, I think - then you've also got Shoma and Jason there.

But, anyway, I suddenly feel this knot of nervousness in my stomach - it just hit me that the season is actually beginning in earnest soon...

Good luck to Sasha this season, and may he improve his arsenal of jumps and show us all what he can do!

Denis Ten is recovering from an injury.

When I say "expect", I mean that if he performs to what he is capable of, he should medal.
Of course if he under-performs, then naturally no podium finish.

A thing about Sasha is, of course, that he seldom does underperform. So, my sudden fit of the jitters is just my usual fannish reaction, not that I'm worried he won't do well. That is one positive in being a Sasha fan - one need not expend too much energy in fearing meltdowns.;)

I am not nervous at all. After what has happened in the last 5 months (and you know what I mean!), I am so "que sera sera" about this season.

But after the Olympic season, I hope Sasha will consider making some serious changes to his career. But now's not the time to address that. So I will just leave that issue aside for the next 4 months.

I canceled out Ondrej Nepela Trophy, he won't be going there.
