Alexander Petrov

Apparently there was at least one preview article about the gala too, in which he was mentioned:

"Tartus South Centre tonight will see the world's current best skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva who participates commencing at 18:00 Alexei Mišini camp gala.

Alexei Mišini international camp will take part in nearly 20 athletes, eight of them are Mišini own students. In addition to last year's women's individual race in world and European champion crowned Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, members such as Alexander Petrov, who became Russia's third place in the championship race, and a single man team will be represented at this year's Euros.

Gala takes about an hour, the submission of the 15 individual plan. The only Estonian figure skaters will participate in the camp Sindra Kriisa who must also be on the ice tonight."

It is.:) The gold does make things better - and I've got used to it.:) Also, I'm a Brian fan - it's not like I can't see "beyond" a costume.;) (At first look I'd often start back wondering "What is that he's wearing?!", but then I'd soon get used to it, to the extent that when anyone else complained, I'd be surprised and think "Why? What's the matter with it? It's Brian.":)) Besides, the LP costume makes up for everything - I love it.:)

Oh yes, the LP costume is wonderful. The details on the shirt/vest are just  And the semi-popped collar is just cool. :)

Great - Thanks!

Watching the SP again, made me suddenly wonder; how much do you think he's grown since then? Growing can take a lot of energy out of a body, and leave the person more liable to illnesses - especially if they are pushing themselves, as athletes obviously do. I think there's quite a striking difference between him then and now - he looks far more grown up now (although his face is still very boyish.:))

In height, maybe just 1cm. But the body is more grown-up now, he's no longer a kid. He's still skinny though and will probably remain slim. His dad has a slim physique and Sasha's frame seems to be similar. The face I suspect will remain boyish. Sasha looks just like his mum, she has a sweet face. :)

Yes, I suspect you are right about the boyish look - I was thinking something similar myself. Some people just retain that, it seems, about indefinitely - see Alexei Rogonov, for example.
