I'm really late to the quad conversation, but I still want to tell my opinion.

So first of all, if the injury is still a problem Mishin should come out and just say it. That would be best for Sasha. At least I can't see what harm that could do.
But if this has nothing to do with the injury and Sasha still wants to do it, in which case it probably is stable enough for him to feel comfortable with it, I feel like he should be allowed to try one in the free.

Of course I'm not actually basing this on facts and it's all speculation. And whatever the final decision is, I respect it since mishin does know better.

So am I reading this aright that the men's competition is on two consecutive days - Wednesday (SP)/Thursday (FP)? If so, is this good/bad? Thoughts?
That is correct. It makes no difference, it's the same as every competition he has taken part in.

From his VK fanclub:

"You are at heart - a fighter, an athlete in life,
For you victory and medals are important,
For you results of competitions are important,
Let there be a successful start
At your first European assignment competition."

One thing I just realized now...
If Sasha gets a spot to the youth Olympics of junior worlds, doesn't that mean they would have to change his free program to be a junior program? (the length, and isn't there some difference in the elements too?)

Yes, they would need to change it. Juniors mens FS is shorter, there are also some differences in the spin requirements etc.
Well, cutting stuff out is Prokofieva's expertise afterall...

If his coaches are still intent on sending him to these competitions, I think they would have already trimmed the track by now.

Now this one is more tricky. From Tartu 2009?

On 8th March, there will be a gala at Yubileyny to celebrate Mishin's 75th birthday. There was one in 2011 (Sasha did not perform) and one in 2014 (his EX is in the OP). I'm pretty sure that this time (if he's fit), he will do an EX. It's a fairly big occasion so there should be video, hopefully.
