Alexander Petrov

I remember Sasha being interviewed by ISU media at the start of Euros. But nothing has surfaced so far.

The exit from his 3A in the SP:

Montoya is reportedly having problems raising funds for this competition, so he may or may not turn up. So it's possible that there might be another WD. We'll see.

Oh, I hope not! Re Montoya, I mean - he does need the Worlds' TES, though, right?, so if so I'm sure he'll do the best he can to attend. (Better safe than sorry, who knows what may happen on site, if this turns into one of those And Then There Were None things...)

A couple of the girls were on periscope yesterday. The group transited through Moscow and arrived in Budapest last night.

Edit:
Hmm... Liza's still in SPB it seems, so maybe the kids took an earlier flight? We'll see.

The younger ones skate earlier, if I remember right. So maybe they went earlier because of that.

Lozko skates on the same day as Tuktik though. Maybe Mishin just wanted to work with the others for an extra day in SPB before flying off since Liza, Sasha and Petr are coached personally by him. http://i.imgur.com/AicYo33.jpg

That could be - especially since I think you said that the training time given at the competition was... minimal? Perhaps he thought they were better off training a bit extra at home, than leaving earlier.

It's possible. Either that or Liza geotagged her IG post as SPB for some other reason.

Edit:
Just saw Liza on one of the girl's periscope streams.

There still seems to be 9 skaters on the entries list (updated this afternoon), so probably everyone will turn up. No skating orders yet though...
