I just love that SP - one of my favourites of the season, regardless of category. (Yes, I've said it before, I know!
) I wish him the best for the FS - I'm supposing that with the news that he's been ill, we can count out any quad attempt? Well, regardless of how it goes, he's got a small medal at least.
As for how he looks - I do think he looks a bit taller. And older. There's a certain age in boys' development when they tend to look a tad - or a lot in some cases - gangly and weedy; all legs and arms. I'm not sure that can be entirely avoided if they do pull some height. He still looks good to me, though.
That said, the camera work seemed a bit odd to me as well.

I hope Sasha has a much healthier year next season, regardless of whether he competes senior or junior. I'm a bit nervous about the LP draw, due to what happened at Nationals, but hopefully Sasha has learned and will be stronger now.

You are right! But I really wanted to a medal for the Russian guys! I think Soma was overscored in PCS. Boyang was awesome!

Sasha had a 5-point lead from Sota after the SP... He could've afforded one mistake--but not two falls.
A medal was easily within reach, and he instead drops down to 6th place. Quite the disappointing final group, with the exception of Boyang.
