Alexander Petrov

Amazing! Two times +3, on the fs step sequence :)

They should probably also do something so he wouldn't get the time violation.

It's a choreo issue. The spins too. Prokofieva has to do something about it because this is her job. I hope Mishin pays attention to this because his score could have been 3-5 pts higher if he was getting better levels and no deductions.

I think the questions and answers are roughly the ones from the published interviews I posted. That's my guess anyway.

Ah, okay, thanks, didn't think of that, but it makes perfect sense. I suppose I was just being greedy for a little more.:)

Mishin on Sasha's performance:

"Bronze in the Russian championship for figure skater Petrov was a surprise - Mishin

Bronze medal of the Russian championship, won by the figure skater Alexander Petrov, was a big surprise, said to "F-Sport" Coach athlete Alexei Mishin.

On Friday in Yekaterinburg 16-year-old Petrov for the first time on the podium of Russian championships. Places at the European Championships currently guaranteed winner Maxim Kovtun and runner-up Mikhail Kolyada. Third member of the European Championship will determine the coaching board of Figure Skating Federation of Russia.

"In the championship were a few highlights, such as skating Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov, as well as two more winners (among couples), - said Mishin on the phone. - I also liked the rentals in men, and I am very happy that Sasha Petrov won third place very suddenly. Now it is necessary to entrust the fate of Petrov to the functionaries of our federation. Results of the championship are such that our team makes a good impression. "

European Championships will be held in Bratislava from 25 to 31 January."

LOL
Well, they would have to be flaming mad to leave him out. I mean, the guys that the Fed prefers over Sasha are just too far down or otherwise engaged in other competitions in Jan.

I just didn't dare take out anything in advance - too fearful of disappointment! Well, I was all the happier when I found out.:)
