Alexander Petrov

Fortunately (maybe?) there is almost a month between SC and CoC. Meaning that he will have time to rest and get ready for the next GP. Although the names in CoC are tough...

Another thing, who are the other two in the national team?

La Kovtun and Kolyada.
Most of the funding is going to the ladies and pairs it seems. Men and dance downsized.

Not a month, 16 days between SC and CoC if you take into account timezone differences.

The kind of cr@p that Sasha has to deal with sometimes... unbelievable.
what do u mean???? anything happened??

ha have u seen the discussion on that pic with Benoit between Sasha & Krasnozhon btw?????
about bowing down to US:laugh2:

Actually, you are right about the 16 days. For some reason I counted totally wrong :) well, that way of positive thinking about the situation doesn't really work that great then...

Well, once again Sasha will be the sole Russian man at Skate Canada upholding the honour of his country!

It is what it is. Mishin chooses based on Liza's schedule. But the bright side is... well, there is no bright side. He just has to cope somehow.

Okay so this gets even worse. He's currently only the 7th ranked man at CoC, so by the end of Oct if he doesn't pick up more points to pass the guy right before him in the World Standings, then he'll start in the 1st group at CoC. Awesome.

Edit:
Urgh. I really hope they don't waste time at Samara again this year. Go to Finlandia and/or Nebelhorn, pleeease.

He flew to Crete this morning. Family vacation I think.

Maybe a short one because the Tartu camp starts in a week. Although if he's got all his choreo completed already, then I suppose it's not an issue if he doesn't go to Tartu.

He's sucking his lips in? I do that too when I concentrate. Or when I'm really angry. (Mamma said she knew when I was about to strike - as a child I'd get into fights with my brothers - by my sucking my lips in. Nowadays, I do it when I'm NOT hitting people.;))

Well of course I have no idea what he's really thinking when he does that. But he does it quite often during practice sessions at competitions, so...

Maybe he does it when he's especially focused? (rhetorical question, really - or more of a suggestion as to possible cause)

It seems that Sasha arrived back in SPB from Greece yesterday and then several hours later a group of skaters from the school left for Tartu. There's no indication of whether he was with them or not but I'm going to assume he was.
