This thing still not fixed. I hope it is just a website issue and not their database.

LRK has alerted me to the rule change that now makes World Standing points completely irrelevant to GP events. -__-

Just a reminder. He will not be skating his FS tomorrow. Mens FS will be on Saturday and the gala will be right after that.
Tomorrow I hope we will be blessed with photos from his SP. It's nice to finally have a stream for local SPB events but Figurist TV is always on the opposite side of the judges so we don't really get to see his facial expressions much. Photos would be most welcome.

I don't understand it either because this is an insignificant local competition. At the most he finishes third instead of second. And seeing how the rest of the men before him skated, he could have gone for the quad, popped or fallen on it and still finish second.I understand they want to go clean but I really don't see any reason why he could not try 4T in competition. He needs it in skate Canada and every other competition coming up.
But yay for the clean fs anyway
Exactly and if he really wanted to go for it, you'd think Mishin (or whoever was holding him back) would let him try it.
Oh well, at least Sasha is extremely consistent.
I know Sasha wanted to go for it because that's what he said in his previous interview. I don't know why they are holding him back.

Agree re what has been said about the quad. What better place to go for it than a minor local competition? If he wants to try it, he should be allowed.
