Yesterday I passed Kustarova, Alexeeva, Durnev (they were having a smoke-chat) and that judge Alla S., Piseev's wife. She's a tall and imposing looking woman. I'm 166cm so believe me when I say someone is tall, they really are.

In general skaters are smaller and thinner in person than on video/ in photos.

Oh btw, I overheard an ISU judge openly admit to a parent of skaters from his Fed that PCS is subjective and an indication of where you stand in the minds of the judges. I won't say the name of the parent or the judge here. I will email you when I return home.

He did well. I'm proud of him.

I will tell you something. He had a #$#% warmup. And he was super nervous but he held it all together. Sasha mentally is made of STEEL.

But there are two things missing. One: luck. Two: political backing. If he doesn't gain at least one out of these two factors, life is going to be very tough for him.

He has the quad, he has the SS, he has the polish/musicality, he has the consistency, he has the good looks. But somehow his Fed does not like him much.
Something needs to be done about this. If not, the talent will go to waste.

I agree he has very good jumping technique and good SS, only the costume for short was bad

Adding more quads won't change the opinion of the Fed. This was exactly what people said before he had a quad, "if Sasha adds a quad, Rus Fed will support him".
