My favourite parts of the interview are probably the part where he talks about the Olympics and also how he relates to music.

Mishin will hold a third summer camp in Tartu from 25 July to 3 August. I'm not sure about all this overseas travelling before the start of a season that's going to be even more tiring than the last. But we shall see.

He is working very hard on the 4F. It is very possible for him to master it. It just depends on when, this season or post Olympics. Except for a shallow edge, his 3F is very consistent and technically sound. Once he masters 4F, it should in theory be able to attain consistency.

Strategically speaking, he needs only (I say "only" but it's by no means easy) one consistent junior quad and one consistent senior quad in his arsenal to go with his already consistent triples to compete with the top men.

4F is probably very much possible for him, but I was just wondering about 4Lz. He has cleaner edge to lutz than flip. Since lutz and flip are actually extremely similar jumps, except maybe mentally, I wouldn't be surprised if he would do 4Lz at some point too. Also, 4S is probably very much possible.

Of course, even one quad in SP and two (maybe 3, if he learns the 4F) in FP would be an improvement.

I'm under the impression that 4Lz is part of the plan too after 4F is mastered? Not sure if I remembered correctly. But he did say in some interview in the past season that he had attempted 4Lz in practice. And after the gala at Sofia Trophy, he attempted 4Lz for fun. I think I have video of it somewhere on my computer. I will search for it.

He's saying his 4T is stable now so I guess at the min he will be attempting one in the SP and 2 in the FS this coming season.

IMO though, his quads still need more height. Sasha, by virtue of the mechanics of the jump which he favours, is able to generate noticeably more height and "air" time on his 3A than on his quads. I'm not sure if i'm right but I also think he enters the 3A with more speed than he does with his quads. I don't know what they are doing to help him develop more speed on the ice but I think it is necessary that he does.

Based on videos of his quad attempts, 4S seems to be weaker than 4F or 4Lz. But the 4S vid dates back some 6 months ago so the jump might be different now. He is able to land 4Lz standing up albeit it without the full rotation and two footed. That was in Feb 2017. Currently I don't know the state of his 4Lz. But his 4Lz in Feb was no worse than how his 4F seems now. So what Skater01 said is quite possibly true, 4Lz is a very viable option, especially if he and his coaches think 4F is realistic and are working on introducing it into his layout in the coming season.

Sabre Dance, do you think? Should I consider starting to be reconciled - if it looks that cool?;)

I don't think it's Sabre Dance. He's supposed to work with Benoit on finishing his FS so maybe this is it.
