To be honest those complaining about how the quads will go away once she hits puberty sound a bit too.. Jealous for me. Puberty doesn't equal all jumps to flunk. For some, the jumps get even better. So I'm hoping Tru can bypass such people who say that.I want to stress one little but very important detail that somehow eluded everyones attention. Do you remember how many of us didn't believe in Trusova quads at all last season and even after JWC 2 quads many including famous coaches etc. said that it's just miracle and can't be repeated in like 10 years or at least can't be considered consistent. And now what? Second public FP in a row and 5 quads without falls already. And noone even mentioned about it. Where are all those naysayers now, I wonder? [emoji3]
Point is - Trusova's quads are not fluke or miracle. With two successful FP in a row you can call her a consistent quad jumper already with a degree of confidence. Despite how tremendously hard that title to achieve, how much it means and how few people even among men can boast with it nowadays. Of course her first official competition this season can confirm this title finally. But even if not - she is still more consistent than majority of man quad jumpers. I suppose her physique and current form is ideal for quads now and her body remembers how they should be done successfully already. I hope that I didn't jinx anything but I have a hunch that this season will be called in history books as woman quads revolution
I think that everyone is already familiar with the material about Sasha Trusova, printed in the latest issue of the World of Figure Skating magazine. It included a lot of photos, which I shot at Sasha's house. And in this post - a few unpublished in the journal staff.
Is the arcticle about Trusova available online somewhere?

Further to the introduction of the +5 / -5 GOE, all statistics start from zero for the season 2018/19. All previous statistics are now historical.

Damn, I was hoping ISU wouldn't do this despite the +5 / -5 GOE thing but they did. Well, we will see hundreds of new WRs this season when counting both the senior and junior WRs.
I thought that ISU never tracked world records anyway. They just had SBs. So I don't think that this changes anything.
Sasha might set a world record early on that the seniors can't touch.

Sasha - How I should kill them? Slowly and painfully or quickly and painlessly?
Daniil - Sasha, it's just test skates!
