Sasha will play the role of the black swan in an upcoming performance of Swan Lake in one of Plushenko's show from January 4-7. Mark will play the black magician, and Plushenko will play the prince. I, like others in the comments section of this article, think that Dmitry Mikhailov should be the prince given their past history but whatever. I am interested to see if Sasha can pull off the role of Odile (the black swan) and what the performance dynamic is like. I also wonder if she will take additional ballet training for the role to be convincing, we have already seen that she is doing some barre work in her birthday video so who knows.
