Alina Zagitova

"Polina is 13 years old, she is one of the participants in the master class held by Olympic champion Alina Zagitova @azagitova.

Polina shared her impressions:

😍 “Alina is very sociable and kind. She taught me many things that are new to me. For example, skating on one leg and a little of jumping. Now I will try to improve my skills, I will go to the rink. I am happy because for a long time I dreamed of meeting Alina. I liked the master class very much. "

💭 Polina's mum adds:

“I am very happy for Polina, glad that she had the opportunity to meet Alina Zagitova and take part in a master class! You can see that the daughter is happy, she dreamed about it, she wanted to learn different elements of figure skating. During the training session, Polina received a lot of information, we are very grateful to Alina and the foundation. " ❤️

Olympic champion in figure skating Alina Zagitova responded to the high-profile story of the murder of Kuzya the cat, tortured by the animal abusers in Severodvinsk. The athlete made an appeal to take care of animals:
"I like animals a lot. There is so much devotion, so much adoration and understanding in these eyes. They are my family, and they are truly our little brothers.

Recently I learned about the terrible situation with the cat Kuzya from Severodvinsk, who was brutally tortured. It hurts me that such a thing can happen in our world. It is important that people know that this is unacceptable."

“Despite the fact that the topic is difficult, it is important and necessary to talk about it. It is necessary that parents explain to their children that animals are not toys, not some consumables for pranks. They are living beings like you and me. Sometimes love and respect must be taught. This is our responsibility. Talk to the children about this situation. Tell your kids that their friends and acquaintances can encourage them to torture animals by manipulating them to do these acts “on a dare”. It depends on us what kind of world we will live in. Let it be a world of people with kind hearts "
