, I don't even want to know what backlash there was. If she decided to remove it, her perogative. I will never understand the hate so many of these young people get. Ah well plenty of other pics and videos to see and my wish for next year is to see Alina skate live somehow somewhere.

That's hilarious. It's a bathing suit! I'm glad she didn't take it down. After spending the past year getting fat-shamed for not looking like a 15 year old at 18 I'm really glad to see her confident in herself.
Someone on Twitter called the 'not fans of Alina' - Alina's Second Fanbase. At least that what Google Translate said. I love it and will now never refer to them as anything else. They are literally one step behind Team Zagitova with knives out whenever she posts anything or something is written about her. Thanks to them the most basic articles about Alina on Sports.ru - "Alina wears a dress with puffy sleeves" & "Alina wishes her mom a Happy Mother's Day" - have hundreds and sometimes (often) over a thousand comments on them. More than all of the article about actual competitive skaters put together. In an Olympic Season!
It's not fun to read 'hate' but it's almost comical at this point. They never have anything new to say. Alina is still fat/boring/uninteresting. They are still mad she opened a door with her foot once! And Alina's real fans are always right there to point out how ridiculous it all is. In the past 4 years (almost 4) they have become experts at troll crushing. Best of all, Team Zagitova, Valaria's blog on Sports.ru and this thread are still a peaceful haven for Zagistan.

GPF has been cancelled but guess what they are discussing (with 1K comments and growing)? Not that, nobody cares, it seems - it's Alina's TT video! It's so important that they've started the usual phone polling the "experts" - and even TAT told them to shove it
Same morons complained about Alina's TT video with her bungee jump - she didn't take it down, it was blocked too. These idiots are just afraid of the number of views that the videos could get, since it's all they care about (for their

I will continue to say this - Alina makes people crazy.
Alina's wearing a bathing suit. On a beach. And posted an 8 second video. To HER social media. That absolutely no-one is obligated to follow. And here we are. Business as usual.
I hope Alina's fans on Sports.ru have gotten plenty of rest, taken their vitamins and are staying hydrated. It's going to be long few days. Stay strong brothers and sisters!

I saw that and could not believe it. Or that someone got banned for pointing out that the admin had just broken a rule! Like I said, the Alina fans on FSO (Figure Skating Online) have a lot of patience. Hopefully they can now enjoy the Dubai trip in peace along with the rest of us!

The GPF has been cancelled due to a new Covid variant. Medvedeva has officially retired from competitive FS. Medvedev has made the Davis Cup Semi Finals. Imagine you are the Russian journalist who decided to call Tatiana Tarasova this morning to ask what she thought about Alina Zagitova's 8 second bikini video being removed from Tiktok....
