Olympics channel's interview with Alina, a few quotes below and full link at the bottom of the post:
"I don’t want to look for any excuses for my mistakes, I try not to get distracted by any circumstances. I think if you’re an experienced skater, you need to learn how to get used to anything that could happen."
"Honestly it’s not so important for me. My score, my first place, doesn’t really matter when I don’t skate clean. I always want to do my job on the ice as best as I can. I wasn’t able to do that today, so I’m not pleased with myself."

Alina is our own little Buddha, wise and very focused. I wish I had half, even 1/8, of her determination and focus when I was her age.
I wish that tomorrow she can truly leave the ice happy. Go and be amazing like you are Alina!!
Alina seems very composed and realistic in every interview that I've read. I feel like she grew a lot, mentally speaking, she's speaking up for herself, presents objective opinions about her performances and she does not seem to let a mistake to affect her. Yes, at that moment she was sad, but afterwards she's taking it as a learning experience and looking very positive towards her future.
I am becoming emotional, seeing her continuous development. :luv17:
Alina is looking great (that smile..:luv17
